Q. What kind of insurance does the Gerber Life Accident Protection Plan provide?
A. This individual policy, available to you and your spouse, provides cash benefits in the case of accidental death or disabling injury due to an accident24 hours a day, anywhere in the world.
Q. How much coverage does the plan provide?
A. You can choose a $20,000, $35,000, $50,000, $75,000 or $100,000 policy.
Q. When does my coverage start?
A. Your coverage starts immediately when we receive payment for your first premium within 30 days of receipt of your application.
About Premiums
Q. How can I pay my premiums?
A. You can pay by credit or debit card, check or money order. Premium payments can be automatically withdrawn from a bank account designated.
Q. How much will the premiums be?
A. For $5.23 a month, you can have $50,000 worth of accidental death coverage. For $3.66 a month, you can get $35,000 worth of coverage, or for a $2.09 monthly premium, you get $20,000 protection. The rates quoted are our standard rates.
Q. Will my premiums increase as I get older?
A. No. Once you apply, your rate is guaranteed never to go up, no matter what your age or health.
Eligibility and Application Questions
Q. Who can purchase the Accident Protection Plan?
A. This policy is available to anyone age 19 to 69. No medical exam is required and there are no health questions to answer. Acceptance is guaranteed.
